Visualization of 3D structures and function patterns for organic and hybrid materials
This project mainly involves analytical electron microscopy to enable high-resolution functional imaging of soft materials. We are particularly interested in visualizing morphologies in organic and hybrid thin-film electronic devices, where structural motifs at the nanoscale and at interfaces play a crucial role for the performance. Spatially resolved spectroscopic patterns will be linked to electronic properties and functional structures to shed light on novel ways to guide device fabrication.
