Expansion of the research cooperation HEiKA into a strategic partnership
Research, promotion of young talent, teaching and innovation become integral parts of HEiKA with the signing of a new framework agreement
With the evaluation of the HEiKA research partnership in 2016, the further development of HEiKA has once again picked up speed in the last two years. Perhaps the most important result of this process was the recommendation of the panel of experts, the already very positively valued partnership to expand further fields (joint courses, innovation and increased promotion of young researchers).
This will now be tangible through a structurally new form; By signing the new HEiKA framework agreement, all bilateral activities between the University of Heidelberg and KIT will be supported and presented under one umbrella, the Heidelberg Karlsruhe Strategic Partnership - HEiKA.
