Abstract / Summary

The aim of this project was to join forces between the activities on printed, organic TEGs in Karlsruhe with the synthetic organic capabilities in Heidelberg to prepare the next generation organic thermoelectric materials.

A new printing fluid was developed, based on PEDOT:Tos as active material. In order to be suitable for a silk screen printing process the obtained PEDOT:Tos printing ink must show shear thinning behavior, which was proven by rheological characterisation. The obtained PEDOT-ink was used in a roll-to-roll printing machine in the InnovationLab.
